CIVIL WORKS AND CONSTRUCTION

We participate in the evolution of construction systems, therefore we have specialized machinery for the manufacture of all types of metal structures such as: commercial/industrial (metal structures for warehouses, buildings and mezzanine), housing (light structure and structural reinforcement), road infrastructure (road and pedestrian bridges, ramps, transport stations or signaling).

OUR PROCESSES

SHEAR CUTTING

Our shears work with hydraulic force, having a very wide cutting capacity both in length and thickness, with numerical control system providing great precision. We can offer cuts up to 3mts long x 9mm thick.

PUNCTIONING

Our punching machines exert hydraulic pressure of up to 140 tons, which allows us to make perforations in different diameters and geometric shapes, punching thicknesses from 2mm to 12.7mm, taking into account that the perforation must be greater than the thickness of the sheet.

TROQUELING

Die cutting is a process of mechanical strength for industrial mass production, in which the sheet is handled cold to manufacture parts with high precision and agility, we are able to die cut metals of low or high thickness, we have machines up to 100 tons of force.

BENDING UP TO 9MM THICKNESS

To provide this service we use a machine called folding machine, with it the sheet can take the shape that is required, you can make folds to degrees for a wide range of products. Our bending machine has the capacity to exert pressure up to 160 tons, so it can bend sheet up to 3/8" depending on the length.

ASSEMBLY: MIG WELDING LINE

SMO has an assembly line consisting of ten workstations, with equipment of 400 amperes each, which guarantees long work cycles, generating higher productivity. MIG welding is used, which is characterized by its versatility, efficiency and high productivity; in other words, large quantities of metal can be deposited (three times more than with the coated electrode process) with very good quality and high resistance due to its properties.

PLASMA CUTTING

Plasma cutting is an ionized gas that comes out at high speed from the machine to cut high caliber sheets in steel or other materials with high precision, can be programmed with drawings from design programs such as Autocad throughout the process, in SMO the customer has comprehensive advice for all your projects.
